Architect Taps into History to Get Business

Not too long ago a brilliant friend and client, Mathew Cummings of Cummings Architects in Ipswich, MA, developed a free educational seminar to teach people how to restore an old house the right way.

Why? Because for years he has had to fix old houses that were restored the wrong way, and his passion for history and preservation made him want to reach out and help.

He tapped into the local history community where old house enthusiasts hang out, imparted incredibly valuable information (along with his colleague, timber framer James Whidden), made new friends and customers.

Brilliant! Read the story here!
